Free bulky collection by appointment through the city’s scheduler or 311: up to 15 items, each under 500 pounds, set within three feet of the curb between 3 p.m. the day before and 7 a.m. It covers houses and buildings of six units or fewer, and it won’t take loose building materials.
No curbside bulky pickup at all. The Unified Government holds WyCo Dumpster Days twice a year, in May and October, where residents drive their own items to the drop-off. Refrigerators and anything with refrigerant are turned away, and TVs cost a fee.
The city doesn’t collect trash. Each household contracts with a city-permitted hauler, and that hauler only has to run one bulky pickup a year — KC Disposal, for example, takes up to five items on its zone date.
